Candlemas by Jennifer Hart Smith

We are very happy to have had the chance to collaborate with Jennifer Hart Smith, pastry chef, but also naturopath and trained in the use of plants, phyto… Franco-Australian, she combines the best of all these worlds in a conscious and delicious pastry!
 
To celebrate Candlemas, she has created a gourmet delight…using the benefits of our poudre zéro soucis

This 100% vegetable pancake recipe for Candlemas is ultra fast and easy to digest.
Rich in mucilage thanks to the psyllium which allows to bind the device and to clean gently. The banana naturally sweetens the device. You can take advantage of this by adding a superfood rich in micronutrients like TiL’s powder : poudre zero souci.
 
It is composed of a synergy of plants with digestive tropism with lemon balm, but also draining with linden sapwood (a powerful detoxifier that acts in depth on the three emunctories: liver, kidneys and intestines). Burdock is also an excellent detoxifying ally in the off-season with a direct effect on the skin.

My recipe of vegetable pancakes to make itself above all pleasure:

 
* 180 g of bananas (3 bananas of about 10 cm)
* 120 g (120 mL) plant milk
* 40 g of small spelt flour or (if you prefer: rice + buckwheat for a gluten-free mix)
* 20 g cornstarch
* 1/2 teaspoon of psyllium (optional)
* 1 teaspoon of TiL poudre zéro souci
 
Mash the banana with a fork, pour in the vegetable drink until smooth. 
 
Add dry ingredients (flour, starch, psyllium, and TiL Powder). Let stand for one hour. Heat a frying pan and pour a tablespoon of fat (olive oil, coconut oil). Pour in a small ladle (the size of a pancake and turn over after 2 minutes). 
 
Finish cooking and serve with a lemon curd, homemade jam with little sugar or a drizzle of maple syrup then sprinkle with half a tsp of TiL Powder.
